FERNANDO QUIJANO ECON107 SUMMER94
I feel he could have gone slower through the notes. Everything is crammed in during the summer session and he covered
more this summer than he does during a regular Fall/Spring semester.
I feel that he should go slower because sometimes people don't comprehend the first time through. It helps when he uses
mathematical examples to explain his concepts. I wish there would have been more of them.
I feel Fernando has done a very good job of communicating the material in an effective manner. The only thing that I feel
could be done differently is he could have used numbers in his examples.
Fernando really knows his economics and is very enthusiastic about the class. He is a good teacher but I feel he may be
teaching this class at a higher level than 100. The information he expected us to know was overwhelming for a summer
course. Overall he is a great teacher but needs to realize that we are not all economic majors.
Fernando is a very intelligent instructor. I believe to make this course much easier it would be effective to take into
consideration this is only a 100 level course not a 400. Also, to use numbers in the examples would make things a bit
clearer. I enjoy the class very much and enjoy the instructors methods, but we seemed to be moving to fast. It seemed overwhelming!
I thought he taught the course very well. I really enjoyed it time seemed to fly by. I think class is more effective during the
summer he keeps it interesting. My only complaint is that the tests are hard. Fernando is a people person and takes interest
in his students.
I felt Mr. Quijano was extremely knowledgeable in the area he was teaching. He was very helpful in working with students
who didn't quite understand. His grading policy really makes a student strive to do well on their exams. He was very fair.
Mr. Quijano is a very effective instructor. He does demand a student to study hard and work very hard for a good grade. I
think this class should be more than a 100 level class. It was a very ahrd class.
I really enjoyed Quijano's class, but felt that he went a little too fast for some of the studetns especially for a summer class.
