FERNANDO QUIJANO ECON201 FALL94

This was a difficult course, but Fernando was very helpful and willing to work with students. At the beginning of the semester I was concerned about failing, but after talking with Fernando about how to study and etc. I felt much better. I have learned a tremendous amount and I believe Fernando Quijano is a very good instructor.

Fernando Quijano is an excellent instructor. He conveys his enthusiasm to the class and makes the class interesting and fun. It is obvious that he as thorough knowledge of the subject. His teaching methods are effective and I would recommend his class to anyone.

I think in an economic course you should test more with few chapters in that test. Otherwise the course was fine. You're a job teacher.

Mr. Quijano is a good instructor. His class may be difficult but he is willing to give extra help. Those students that complain about him are students that don't come to class and don't ask for help.

I thoroughly enjoyed this class and learned a lot.

Very good teacher, hard, but you leave this class knowing something and remembering it. People complain Fernando is a bad teacher, he's not bad just difficult and college is suppose to be just that difficult.

Dr. Quijano is a fantastic teacher. He is one of my best teacher who I ever had. He is very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and always prepared for the lectures. I wish we had more teachers like Dr. Quijano.

I thought this course was taught very effectively even though it was a difficult class.

I would like to commend Mr. Quijano for his enthusiasm of this course. He always displayed an enthusiastic manner which in turn helped me to learn and also become enthusiastic. I enjoyed this class and look forward to taking microeconomics form him. Excellent instructor!

If you were as good as you think you are, you'd be the best teacher in the world, but you're not! I don't believe in kissing a teacher's butt to get a grade, I'd rather earn it. You give most people no choice. Communication is a lot of teaching, you can't communicate.

I feel that Fernando Quijano has a thorough understanding of the subject, and feels that class must take discipline. The course is difficult and there are a certain number guidelines you must follow if you want to pass the class. The class may seem tough and unfair, but then again we are lazy, spoiled Americans, my quote.

Dr. Quijano is very intelligent and he is very excited about the material that he teaches. He does well at explaining material to students. His class is very interesting. It is also very challenging, and I feel that I have learned a lot from him. Dr. Quijano was always willing to speak with me in his office to explain material I didn't understand. He even spent some time explaining to me more than what was expected in his class. He is a great professor and I would gladly take his class again.

Fernando is a very good econ. teaching it. The grading was very hard along with the test. An overly good class.

Fernando Quijano is a very effective speaker. His knowledge was presented his lectures. It was not as difficult as other students made it out to be. He treated everyone equally, but gave advantages to those who showed up for class. His tests were fair and eh took a majority of the questions from his notes. If you were in class you knew what areas would be covered on the test. I will sign up for more of his classes and would recommend him to others.

Mr. Quijano is a very good instructor who's frankness and straightforwardness has frightened all students. I believe he wants us to do our very best (give 100%0 and be dilijent. Therefore, most students are unwilling to do so and feel that he's unjust, I think most students as I appreciate him. Everyone needs a challenge and the economics course is one.

Fernando is a good teacher and highly qualifies for this job. He knows economics very well. It is a very tough class, but if you make it through you know the material.

He knows what he is teaching.

Even though, he knows what he's talking about when it comes to economics, he needs to teach us, not write on the board and expect us to comprehend everything. I found this class very hard to understand due to his teaching methods, and don't plan to take a class from him again.
