FERNANDO QUIJANO ECON201 FALL97

Great Teacher!!! Taught well.

It was a hard course but he taught it effectively and made sure we understood the subject material. He was always happy and pleasant in class.

Mr. Quijano did a great job making a normally boring topic interesting. I enjoyed this class very much.

I have studied more for this class than any other. He makes us work.

I think the grading for him was kind of shitty. For those who just aren't test people there was no other point s given to help the grade perhaps, hers an example of lazy teacher.

The main problem w/ this course was the difficulty in interpatating the questions asked on the tests from the way they were given in the notes.

I liked how he has a preview for the test. This really helps a lot.

Professor Quijano is a very enthusiastic teacher who clearly identifies what you need to do and how to get it on the basis of grades and studying.

A lot of bad things have been said about Fernando, but he is a very good teacher. Those who tattle on him because of his little jokes about having fun are only jealous because they aren't

Although Fernando is some what extreme, I feel I have learned more in this class then any other this semester.

He teaches this course very well. He very knowledgeable of the subject. The best thing is I can understand him unlike my other professors.

I thought that Mr. Quijano was a good teacher, he explains things well and makes sure that people understand the material he covers.

He made economics fun and interesting. The class is hard, but he makes you learn so much.

He really knows what he is teaching us. He helps us out the best he can by going over the test before and after. He makes economics easier to understand. I do think, though, that the book shouldn't be mandatory because I rarely ever look at it.

I enjoyed listening to Mr. Quijano and his lectures. He knows his material well and I love that accent.

I felt we should have more opportunities to accumulate points. The four exams have too much weight. I would rather have more projects and more opportunities to being up my grade. Also I felt a bit demeaned when we got put into groups according to grade and the entire class was made aware of my grade in the class. Yes, I was a "private".

The instructor was very enthusiastic and has great knowledge of the subject. I felt that the test questions were somewhat hard to understand.

Mr. Quijano was a very good instructor. He presented the material clearly and reviewed for tests. I would like to take another class from him.

Mr. Quijano always makes the class fun and interesting to attend. I feel he does a good job teaching, the course is just a fairly difficult course.

The instructor should be available in his office for student consultation. The absence and refused of the instructor to address individual concerns of students is only a deterrent to his appeal as a competent college instructor.

Mr. Quijano really tried to teach us well. He repeated many concepts which was good.

I sincerely hope he keeps comment of "go get drunk" " steal a computer" to himself. I would really enjoy the class better if he did.

I liked the way you reviewed for the tests and the way you write all the notes down on the board instead of just lecturing.

The book for this class was absolutely worthless. Please don't make us pay $80.00 for a book that we don't use.

Professor Quijano is an enthusiastic, outgoing person. He has a great Sense of Humor. He has a thorough knowledge of the subject, he has a good teaching method.

Dr. Quijano was an excellent teacher but the class was just extremely hard, I think that's why I had troubles w/ it.
