I thought the computer presentation was very effective.

I believe he knows a lot about Micro Econ, but I think if he came down to a students level he would be more effective.

This was a very interesting class. He is very thorough and knowledgeable.

I think the material was covered to fast and there is not a clean definition of the answers for tests from the information. The computer presentations are very clear and good but the material is covered so fast.

I liked the computer presentation.

This class is very well organized, however sometimes the instructor moves to quickly.

I liked the sides and use of the computer. Made it easy to understand. I thought that the text book was very hard to follow with the instructor. Instructor did a much better job then the text.

Seems to be a lot of information to cover in 1 semester.

The use of computer presentation allows us to go through material quickly. But we are too busy copying the notes to comprehend the concepts he is explaining while we are copying. This class is way too difficult to be labeled a 200-level class, approximately 1/3 of our class has dropped because of failing grades.

His slide show presentation of notes is alright but he moves too fast and we do not have time to listen to him explain them and write the notes and try to comprehend what is being said.

Fernando is a teacher who knows the material very well. He explains the material to his students and gives them plenty of time to get it written down. His tests are quite unreasonable because he gives 60 hard questions think about the questions and the questions he asks need longer time to think about and figure out the correct answer. But over all he is a fairly good teacher.

The instructor has a lot of knowledge on this subject. However, I feel that he moved on too fast before the students caught on to the subject. The use of the computer for notes had its advantages and disadvantages. A major disadvantage was that he went too fast, the writers could not keep up. Another disadvantage was he stood in front of the screen and the computer was sometimes in the way. However, the graphs and colors were helpful.

The class was presently very well with the use of PowerPoint. This was a great as set to the class. Easier to take notes, listen, and comprehend. Only thing I am not satisfied with I is that anyone can make a test hard enough for people not to do well on. I believe I have learned very much in this class.

The notes were neat. Fernando always urged you to ask questions. He was available for help. Tests hard but if you went to class and took notes every answer was available.

Should go slower during lectures, so that students are not writing constantly, they can listen and comprehend too.

Would be nice to have more test covering test material. If you mess up on one test, it is hard to get a decent grade. Also with more test and fewer material, I think grades would be better.

He seemed to go through the material to fast for the amount of information that we cover.

The computer is a great learning tool however he goes through the material really fast and there is too much information to cover for the tests.

The computer use is nice to see but the material comes to fast. We either need to slow down a bit or receive more handouts.

One of the best instructors on campus.
