Fernando wrote an effective book for teaching the material and the electronic blackboard made it even better. Fernando is the best teacher at Dickinson State University.

I felt that a lot of the material was not explained enough. He knew what he was talking about, he just thought we new stuff, that he knew and started form there. He is very knowledgeable!

Fernando did a good job teaching the class. He gave all his students chances to make good grades! He went at a very good speed each class time. did a super job – even though I did not make a super grade.

The electronic blackboard book you wrote was great. I thought it was a very good tool in helping students understand the principles we studied. Fernando is a very organized knowlegable teacher. He is enthusiastic about the class.

He was very knowledgeable with the technology (Power Point) and it was very effective. Kept class entertaining, very honest.

The overhead projector was an effective tool.

I thought Mr. Quijano was a very good teacher but his tests were really hard for me. He made himself available and that is appreciated.

Power point presentation is very well put together and very helpful. Teacher is very enthusiastic about the class. Mr. Quijano humor kept the class interested and easier to stay awake. I look forward to taking more classes from him.

Mr. Quijano really knows what he is talking about. His use of computer knowledge was very effective in this class. He is a very good teacher.

Very fair to the students gave many opportunities to do well in the class and achieve a good grade.

The workbook was a big help. We had through notes and not ones that weren’t complete. Worksheets could have been handed out for assignments.

Fernando knows what he is talking about. No need to buy the book. I never opened it at all. His guidebook was very effective.

Instructor tried to make the class as enthusiastic as possible about the course work. Would take another class from this instructor. Seemed to have a good knowledge of material.

Fernando is by far one of the most enthusiastic and best instructors that I have had. The use of power point in his lectures helped to make the course a little easier to grasp.

Micro was a very difficult class, but Fernando gives every student many chances to succeed and pass the class.

Fernando was very knowledgeable in the area of Micro-econ. He also was very effective in giving us examples that we could relate to, in order for us to better understand the information. I also appreciated his willingness to help the students out.

Awesome class. Fernando is one of the best teachers at DSU. The PowerPoint presentation was nice because it highlighted only the important stuff from the book. Fernando has an excellent sense of humor. I think a spreadsheet class should be a pre or co requisite. Possible, use a microphone as it is hard to hear.

There needs to be less lights on so we can see the screen better. Fernando is a great teacher. Beck Auditorium needs a cordless microphone for instructors!!!

The electronic blackboard was a very good idea for this class. I don’t see why the book is required we never used it. The test goes off what’s in the notebook. Fernando was a great teacher, he doesn’t have a day of boring class. He is great.

Fernando took full advantage of the technology and put a lot of work in his textbook and used it effectively. It was a good class.

Mr. Quijano does a great job of reviewing material with the class before exams and the book he put together with notes and graphs is very helpful. The graphs are a helpful visual aid.

Mr. Quijano has a thorough understanding of the material. Considering the complexity and amount of material he does a good job presenting it. Covering less material would allow the student to have a more through understanding of the aspects covered. The electronic blackboard and guide made it much easier and enjoyable to comprehend the material.

I learned a lot throughout the semester. At first it was a little hard to understand the accent, but got used to it and found it easier to understand.

I thought the use of the electronic blackboard really helps. Seeing the information on screen was helpful in learning the material. This subject was helpful in learning the material. This subject proved to be difficult, so providing the questions and answers helped to know what to study, although it’s still "impossible" to get 100%.

The use of technology in this class was great. I wish that more instructors would make use of the resources available to make learning more fun. Fernando has an awesome understanding of what he is teaching and is able to communicate that to the students.

I thought that the use of the electronic Blackboard along with the study guide was very effective. I enjoyed this class an am looking forward to taking macroeconomics in the fall. Methods used of teaching were very effective.

Mr. Quijano is an excellent teacher in the course of Economics. His knowledge is easily transmitted from the book and screen. The overhead is very useful for understanding the graphs and concepts. Although this is a confusing topic at times, the examples and demonstrations provide good knowledge.

The study guide is very effective in teaching this course. Along with the electronic black board. It allows you to play close attention to your lecture without having to write frantically.

The technology used in this class was helpful. Having to do the graphs was helpful when it came to test time.

The way the workbook and power point worked together made note taking much easier and gave more time to listen instead of rushing to copy graphs and terms.

Fernando is probably the best teacher I have had throughout my lifetime. He knows his material very well and the guide used for this class was very effective. I wish Fernando taught every course on this campus. He is a very nice guy and deserves a million dollar raise.

I liked the class but I did not like the way it was taught. I have previously taken macroeconomics at a pervious school and that thought that instructor was a lot better teacher than Fernando. Basically all you do in Micro is come to class every day and copy notes off the board. He does very little to explain the concepts. He is in too much off a hurry. Reviews were helpful.

This class was taught very well. You made things easy to understand. Your book is excellent! He makes taking notes much easier and allows us as students to listen to what you are saying instead of always writing things down. Plus you have an awesome accent so its fun to listen to you talk! I enjoyed the class.

Fernando is a good instructor. He is very humorous and fun to be around.

Fernando is the most enthusiastic instructor I have ever had. He teaches principles of economics very well. His humor in the classroom keeps everybody’s sprits up even though the time is during lunch. His test are challenging even though the material is passed on very well.

Fernando is a very enthusiastic instructor with good knowledge of economics. He also put together an excellent PowerPoint presentation that he uses every day in class. This presentation makes it easy to keep up and take good notes.

This class would have been real boring if Quijano wouldn’t have been the teacher. The guide works really well and basically replaces the need for the textbook.

I enjoyed this class. The electronic blackboard was very effective. Fernando is funny and very enthusiastic. The homework was appropriate. He is good to help out with homework questions or questions about grades.
