FERNANDO QUIJANO ECON202 FALL95
Fernando is a good instructor. He is very fair about grading. The tests were the correct degree and difficulty. The assigned
homework was difficult for the amount of credit it was given.
Fernando is always available both during school hours and at home for students with questions. This is the second course I
have taken from Fernando and plan to take more in the future.
Fernando is a very effective instructor, he is well respected and very well grasps the concept and teaches us excellent, you
could learn a lot from this guy and enjoy it also.
I believe he is very knowledgeable, but when it comes to a test. A lot of it looks greek. Each day I believe I know it, than it
goes out the window.
Fernando is a good teacher, and he does a good job explaining the material. His courses are challenging and force you to
learn, but overall I enjoy them.
Quijano is a good instructor-very knowledgeable. He inputs real life material into our lectures and is enthusiastic-it is clear
he enjoys teaching these subjects.
I enjoy classes from Fernando because I do well with them while everyone else complains how though he is.
Fernando is a good instructor and understand his material well, but exams are unusually difficult.
This course was better taught then Micro from Freiji. Very easy to work with and understand. Very helpful to students both
in class and out.
Fernando is very fait in determining grades.
Very interesting class. Dr. Fernando keeps his class interested in the materials.
I learned a lot during this course, and would recommend this class from Quijano.
I didn't have a problem with the homework; however, the computer project was hard and time consuming as I did not know
the software and have had to learn it in very little time.
Mr. Quijano is an excellent instructor. He knows Economics too well. He can lecture off the top of his head. He treats
students with respect and will do whatever he can to help the student understand Economics.
Dr. Quijano is an intelligent man. He has a great knowledge of Economics. He also teaches the material well. He gives
good class notes. He is also able to make the class very interesting. He was always enthusiastic. He was also always
available and friendly for outside help.
I transferred from NDSU to here because of the hope the teachers would actually care. Fernando is by far the most
excellent teacher I've had, especially in Economics he explained things thoroughly and tested fairly. He's also very
interesting to listen to, he makes it enjoyable to come to class.
Fernando, I think, is an excellent instructor. The man knows what he's talking about, and fun to be in his class.
The homework assignments were to much for this class. He gave assignments that you needed to do on computers that
most of the class had no idea how to run that specific program. So I had a hard time understanding because it should have
been a required (specific computer) taking before taking this class. I felt it was unfair.
The homework assignment was extensive. When it takes 20 plus hours to do a computer assignment, I think there should be
a pre request for the class. It's difficult to concentrate on the concepts and study for the exam when they are both due on the
same day.
I strongly disagreed with the computer assignment. Many people did not know Quatro and he expected everyone to put in
equal time although not everyone knew anything about the computer program. I felt this was extremely inappropriate
because Quatro is not a pre request course for this course.
