FERNANDO QUIJANO ECON336 SUMMER93

I feel Quijano is a very effective and effective teacher. I would take another course from him. He presents his material thouroughly and treats his students with respect. He is also honest and fair on grading and discipline.

I believe Mr. Quijano did a good job teaching this course for such a different course to teach.

I thought that Quijano taught this course very well. But I wouldn't take another course from him (ex. Economics) because I've heard how hard he makes it.

I really did not like this management class that much but I do feel that Fernando covered it well and did the best he could with it. One thing I really appreciate is all the help he is willing to give to students-anytime.

Fernando taught this course the best way possible. This course was really broad and unspecific. I did learn a lot though, that I can contribute to my summer job. I will take another course from Mr. Quijano.

I agree w/everything on the board: ex: The Model of an organization is an excellent idea.

Tests were difficult but fair. The idea was repeatedly stated that we as students didn't know how to do presentation, write, or express our viewpoints verbally. I strongly disagree with this idea. Students are such by the virture of the fact that we are here to learn. Clearly pointed out standards of performance for presentations and homework would certainly produce better results. I respect Mr. Quijano's academic ability but feel the same level of respect is due students.

Mr. Q taught the course OK-except the course itself is a pain to teach. He did very well for a subject he would rather not teach. Mr. Q. is a fine teacher, he talks to the students to help them understand and is even pretty funny about it! During class, I prefer not to hear some of the derrogatory comments about us (white people) or ns (North Dakotans). It isn't a confidence builder to hear bad comments about us and the way we live-write lost t for him.

The course didn't cover anything in depth. I understand that you can't cover everything, but perhaps you could give 1 assignment that allows the students to study a part of management in depth.

I enjoyed the course and the extra input and insight from the instructor, D. Johnson and everyone else in class.

I felt the course was well done. The only part I disagree with was he would check a test again, and depending on the case it could lower your grade. I suggest after the check it could only raise not lower, your test grade.
