FERNANDO QUIJANO ECON336 SPRING94

I feel Mr. Quijano does a very good job teaching this class. He has helped me quite a bit at my job with the things he has taught me. He really cares and wants to know how you perceive the subject and if we "get it."

Competent DSU instructor; deals with the management very well.

I think that Dr. Quijano's attitude progressively became worse throughout the semester. I am uncertain why, other than an early conflict with the class. I have had Economics from him and he definitely has a different attitude. Maybe him teaching economics classes and not management classes would be better.

Fernando is a good instructor, but his judgement is poor with some of the things he says and does.

I feel Mr. Quijano is very knowledgeable in the area of Business Education. He was well prepared and present information effectively. I am a bit hesitant in the area of class presentations we were required to give. I don't believe he will grade fairly when considering that we are not instructors and have not been trained in that area. I believe that should be taken into consideration.

Overall, good class!

Mr. Quijano is a very good teacher. He's a tough instructor, but always tries to make the course interesting.

He sometimes graded unfairly because we didn't do a good job.

Mr. Quijano provided a various of method in his lectures ( portfolio, presentation, discuss etc. ) which enlarge students' knowledge to the course. That is why I think he teaches effectively.

The course was satisfactory for a upper level course. Mr. Quijano did very good for a boring uninteresting course such as this.

This course was taught very well in my opinion. He explains the material very well and gives you needed help is you ask for it. He tells you what you need to do to succeed in his course.

Mr. Quijano is responsible for his work. He teaches the course very well and often combines with many interesting examples to enrich the content in the textbook. He is a capable very good instructor at DSU.

Mr. Quijano was very enthusiastic at the beginning of the semester but a few anonymous calls were made and I think he began to feel let down by us as students. I've had 2 previous courses from him which were taught effectively. In this course he expected to much from us without letting us know what he wanted before hand. He shouldn't be forced to teach a class he doesn't want to and he needs to remember that we're just students who haven't hit the "real" world yet. We need to learn about the real world and things that maybe expected of us once we get there but for now we need to be told what is expected of us.

Mr. Quijano is an excellent teacher. He admitted not being an expert in management, however I found that he has brought in many outside sources into his lectures which leads me to believe he wants to learn all he can so he can teach the course effectively. He encourages participation and welcomes questions in and out of the classroom.

He made class interesting by throwing in jokes every once in a while to make sure we were all awake.
