FERNANDO QUIJANO (Bus A 355)

I paid almost $100 for a book for this course that was not even used and I will not see the money back. The Professor changed the syllabus and when the class did well on an exam he made the next test so difficult to lower grades as he openly admitted to.

As a non-business major with no background in economic studies, I find the professor's lectures very informative and complete.

He is an excellent teacher. He makes the class interesting. He gives examples and info that can be used in the real world.

He is a good teacher and I feel I have learned more about business. But I do wish we had more assignments that are graded.

My comments are he needs to follow by his syllabus. He stated to us and over our syllabus that there

would be 4 exams. After the third he gave us a group project and no fourth exam. I feel this is very unfair.

I felt this course was very beneficial. I must say that I did in fact learn a lot from this course. Enjoyed the course and would recommend it Instructor did a great job!

He is one of the best instructors at DSU. He teaches each class very effectively and gets his points across.

I wish we had more teachers like him at DSU He respects his students and tries to help them as much as he can.

I do not like the idea how he graded an our projects I like when he reviews for his test.

The instructor changed his grading method for the final exam half way through the course. He turned the final exam into a group project about rubber bands. He then graded this project in comparison to other groups, rather on our own media so one group was guaranteed an A, B, C, D, F etc. This I believe is a bad way of grading. It should be based on individual efforts, not group results.

Could have had more grades available for final grading.

Project is difficult to do with a group that ]have full schedules. (Social loafers are carded by us who do the majority of the work.) Class is interesting.

Final projects were assigned unexpectedly when the students thought there was going to be a final exam. There was not much time to prepare with all the finals and other projects assigned from other classes. The book was a waste of money because when barely ever referred to it

Final projects were assigned the last month of class instead of final exam when everyone expected a final exam. Not much time to work on a huge project considering all of the other finals and final projects. Books were not used at all and were a waste of $85.00.

He uses many helpful examples to explain to the class many different principals. I hope to take more classes from him. Fernando is the best!

I really should not have changed the final us the project or he should have given us a choice the final or the project.

Fernando Rulz!!

When a syllabus is created and the requirements for the course are set out in the syllabus. I believe that it should be followed accordingly. Over half way through the semester, we were told that a group project would take the place of a final test. I do not think that this should happen. Fine, if it was set out in the syllabus, but it was not.

The book we had to buy for Ns course was hardly ever used. Also, on the syllabus for the course it said that the faW was going to be a test. Will, he changed that like two weeks ago. We have to do a group project on rubber bands. Each group has to do this. 'Me grade will be determined by how will your group did compared to other groups. It's a majority, the class would rather have a final test since that was what we expected.

Book waste of time to buy

Change in syllabus toward end of semester not really fair

Group projects do not work since I or 2 students do all the work.

The book was not very useful. The lectures were useful. Very slight language barrier on tests.

He is a good teacher with a lot of knowledge to give to his students.. Although, I think he needs to lay it a little softer on the students because it is hard to get high grades in his classes. He is smarter than the students understand.
