The Theodore Roosevelt Honors Leadership Program at Dickinson State University offers interested students the opportunity to become part of a learning community, providing outstanding academic, leadership and extracurricular opportunities for high achieving students. The curriculum is designed to give students with superior academic abilities a broad based education to prepare them for a lifetime of accomplishment, leadership, learning, and service. It is our hope that Theodore Roosevelt scholars become true seekers of knowledge who grow into leadership in the service of others. President Theodore Roosevelt captured this spirit of stewardship when he wrote, “We need leaders of inspired idealism, leaders to whom are granted great visions, who dream greatly and strive to make their dreams come true; who can kindle the people with the fire that burns from their own burning souls.”
