1. Verbs has to agree with their subjects.
2. Prepositions are not words to end sentences with.
3. And don't ever start a sentence with a conjunction.
4. Try not to ever split an infinitive.
5. Avoid clichés since they are old hat.
6. Also, always avoid annoying alliteration.
7. Be more or less specific.
8. Parenthetical remarks are (usually) unnecessary.
9. Never ever use repetitive redundancies.
10. No sentence fragments.
11. Contractions aren't appropriate in formal writing.
12. Foreign words and phrases are not a propos.
13. One should never generalize.
14. Don't use no double negatives.
15. Avoid ampersands & abbreviations, etc.
16. The passive voice is to be avoided.
17. Eliminate commas, that are not necessary.
18. Kill extra exclamation points!!!
19. Use words correctly, irregardless of how others use them.
20. Use the apostrophe in it's correct place and omit when its not needed.
21. Proofread carefully to see if any words out.
